Should you decide to watch the programme at the Flower Square, we have prepared quite a show for you on our large stage with superb concerts through the evening hours. The rest of a day are mostly reserved for attractive performers who traveled to Zagreb from all over the world.

THE EU SQUARE

This nice and small square is new festival location. Here you can find all day street performers shows, street musicians and evening concerts. Also, for the very first time we will have d Best Street Food corner with deversity food and drinks. Here you can taste great food from all around the World. Welcome to d Best Food Corner!

THE “PRAMEN” PERFORMER PLAZA

STAROPRAMEN IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR BEER IN CROATIA – JELAČIĆ SQUARE

When you get off the tram at the Jelačić Square you’ll find yourself smack in the “eye” of the Cest is d’Best. It is here that our performer stage is located, and on it you’ll be able to see and hear what normally you’d have to travel half the world to see and hear. We are presenting it to you right here, in one place, packed into a d Best five days, and you don’t even need to stretch your legs further than the centre of Zagreb. So, don’t dilly-dally in getting a seat in the stands we have put up for you. And as a counterpart, we have organized the race for the fastest street sweeper in the now traditional street-sweeper-tricycle race. The Pramen stage is also offering a wealth of dance performances, especially on Sunday when dance ensembles from across Croatia and other countries are going to give their best in the traditional, three hour long ZG-dance fever. This year we have spread our music programme to the Performer Plaza, and so, with the arrival of evening, when the performers get a bit tired, there is a whole string of attractive concerts to enjoy. And even that is not all. For those of you who opt for this particular venue we have a special present – quite a unique opportunity to be a spectator or indeed become a competitor in “Usporka”, our loony race of the slowest possible bicycle ride.

ZRINJEVAC – THE KIDS’ CEST IS D’BEST – FAMILY OASIS

Yet again has Zrinjevac been reserved for a daylong family picnic in which this park resounds with children’s laughter. Throughout the day the park area is filled with fun and educational activities for the youngest followers of Cest – from visual art workshops, playgroups, clowns, story-telling, shows and choirs… Come the evening, however, when the “little angels fall asleep”, the parents can go dancing. This time there are three evenings they can dance to their hearts content: Tango beneath the stars, Salsa ,beneath the stars and Dancing beneath the stars – and it makes no difference whether you like waltzing or indeed rock n’ rolling your hours away, it’ll all be there. Dance instructors + cheerful dancers + dance ensembles = great time. And that is not all, if you happen to be with us at Zrinjevac, on a Saturday morning you’ll have a rare opportunity to try your luck as a pastellist with pavements as your canvas, be eye to eye with the beautiful plane trees (some of which are the genuine city elders) and visit our “Reserve for rare and dangerous animals” the number of which is now almost, but not quite, a competition to the Zagreb ZOO. Needless to say, this year again the Reserve will receive a new animal, so come and see it.

THE BOGOVICEVA STREET

Try to find the grounded Sun in Zagreb and keep your eyes open for one of our cheerful wandering programmes. Among them are Roving piano, Rest stop for the tongue, Centre for minor and emergency repairs to one’s mood, and performances by buskers.

THE CLUB & CINEMA STROSSMARTRE LEFT OF ZAGREBS FURNICULAR – UPPER STATION

Although the Summer at Stross is a manifestation quite of its own, during Cest is d’Best Festival the venue is taken over by the Cest merrymakers who practically turn it into their club. Those who feel like “Cest-ing“ (so to speak!) after midnight can do so at ,Stross.
